Why are most of the food and drinks you buy in America filled with chemicals that will kill you?!
Answers: It seems like everything you eat now a days is loaded with either food coloring, sugar, grease, or some other chemical that will destroy your body. My god, the people that mass produce our food are trying to kill us with all of this junk.
Used to be your food was mostly from near your home and brought into the city or town daily. With suburbanization in the 1950s, land near cities and town became too valuable to use for farming and was sold for housing developments. So instead of getting REAL tomatoes from a farm 2 hours from your house, you get these styrofoam things they strip mine down in Mexico and process, alter, and engineer to handle the 2 weeks from Mexico to your supermarket shelf. Join the slow food movement and start looking for and buying foods that are naturally produced near your home. Sure, it will cost more -- but would you rather be poor or sick?
Life is to short to worry about such futile things.

Relax.
I don't buy them personally. I try to buy from local farmers and make everything from scratch. Including candy. Then I know whats in them. hey I am even doing bread now too.
