What is your favourite drinks in pub and why ?!
Answers: Large glass of dry white. Brandy & coke. Whisky. G&T . Baileys. Cointreau. You should have asked what I didn't like!!!!!

a coke I guess......I can't buy anything alcoholic, I'm underage
vodka lime and soda because it is the lowest calorie drink. Plus i do not suffer with a hangover!

guiness draught...because it quenches my thirst and fills and is thick enough to be considered a meal
Tom Collins maybe because I heard it on TV. It's not a bad drink, other than beer.
Beer.
I usually have two drinks with me. The first is a nice cold bottle of wate.. I mean Bud Light. The second is a bottle or pint of local brew which I have in my hand when talking to someone whom is not from my parts. It lets them know I'm from around these parts and someone who could show them a good time.
Carling when I'm in the UK.........and Molson's....the best beer in the world, when I can get it.........Canadians do it better!!!!!

I love a good strong beer and tend to drink beer most times because the area (northern MN) where we spend our weekends and partying are areas with more bars than churches.
It is a friendly place although the reason I tend to drink beer is that I control the amount of alcohol in my drink. I love a good whiskey and water or even an ice cold gin and tonic on a warm day, but the bartenders up there thinking they are being your friend seem to think it best to add your mix as an afterthought to the alcohol, thus leaving you annihilated in short order.
Not that there wasn't a time, especially when I was in the service that it wasn't exactly what I was looking for, but now that I have matured a bit I like to converse and visit and remember where I left the car so my wife can drive me home since she doesn't drink. By the way did I mention it is a game for the cops up there to troll for drinkers. Nasty games they play in catching them too. (Not that I condone drinking and driving because I don't)

I just like a nice cold glass of diet coke with a slice of lemon but no ice (i hate it when the ice melts because it takes away the fizzyness!)
