What is the best liquor to bring for Thanksgiving? I am going to a house that has a fully stocked bar!?!

Question: You don't really state your budget or how you know the people that you're going to Thanksgiving at their house so I'm gonna shoot mid range on this. If they have a full stocked bar then I assume they have all the basics so I would recommend getting something beyond the just basic & going for something slightly more high end. If you want to impress I would go with something classy like Single Barrell Jack Daniel's. You can get this for about $40 & it comes in a handsome black box. Also if you go with a nice aged Scotch this can be a very nice gift that you can get without spending crazy money. I enjoy Hogshead Blended Scotch Whisky or Johnnie Walker Black Label which are both around $40 as well. I'm sure if they can afford to stock their bar they won't be impressed with some sissy simple table wine I've seen some people recommend on here already. I mean it's a gesture but one which says, hey I picked this up for $12 on sale at the grocery store on the way here. Versus getting a nice bottle of liquor that you obviously carefully selected and went through the time of shopping for. Good luck!

Something yummy that even a fully-stocked bar might not have, like chambord, frangelico, something like that.

Without being a cheapskate.........why take any? If they got a fully stocked bar?

Maybe some imported beer, something they're not likely to have even though fully stocked.

Wild Turkey! lol... bada-bing. Just kidding.

Anyhow.

Why not just bring a nice bottle of wine (Sutter Home White Zinfandel is yummer) or champagne, or if you're into getting down and dirty drunk but want some flavor, bring a mixer for all the liquor they already have.... or heck dont bring liquor at all... bring a dessert.

fresh apple cider and whiskey! it's the perfect holiday dessert drink!!!

A good bottle of Reisling (or any good white wine) for the table would probably be much appreciated.

It sounds like maybe a side dish or some flowers for the table are the way to go here.

White Zinfandel

Pumpkin Stout - if you live near any breweries they usually sell Growlers (half gallon jugs) they fill for you. Most breweries do seasonal dark beers and good possibility for this flavor. Also the guest can keep the Growler and refill again later for themselves or display as a bar decoration.

IF not beer then check out the new Absolut Vodka New Orleans style it is flavored with Mango and Peppar (Spicy). Bring some Bloody Mary mix and go to town. I know that Absolut is not the best Vodka but the new flavors are always worth at least a try.

Bet they don't have Barenjager, A german honey liquor, Tastes just like honey with a 80 proof kick....
