i stopped eating sugar altogether for the most part..,.and i drink everyday. i drink vodka mixed with crystal light....or wylers sugar free. aspartame is the sweetner. its what they put in most diet sodas. i hate diet soda, but the crystal light is good....but when im at the bar ill order a miller light...and ill sip on tequila...yummo!

lemonade, maybe with a hint of strawberry. DELICIOUS

Thats a tough one. From my understanding, you cant have one without the other. Beer is lower in sugar than many other drinks but high in calories.

Light rum Almost no carbs ...Mix with diet drink

yeah, basically you have to cut out the malted and fermented beverages (beer, cider, etc) just go for mixed drinks with diet soda. some of the lower carb beers prolly would be fine.
The thing is that alcohol is essentially a sugar, so, they do kinda go hand in hand, but the higher distilled spirits act a little differently.

diet coke, coke zero, pepsi one, etc. mixed with rum. no sugar to speak of. stay away from drinks made with fruit juice. wine is probably your best bet in terms of sugar and carbohydrates. there's only 1.5 grams of carbs per 5 oz glass of wine. other spirits include tequila, vodka, etc.

a great low calorie drink to get at the bar is a chilton. mmm. salt-rimmed glass, vodka, lemon juice (real lemon squeezed), the rest is soda water and it's fabulous!
