I have begun collecting wines but don't drink wine, have a question?!

Question: I have begun collecting celebrity wines such as Marilyn Merlot, etc.
I have read that Merlots are not meant to go left unconsumed any more than 8-10 years after creation
Some of the wines I am collecting are not intended to go left unconsumed anymore than 2 years
My question is, since I don't plan on ever opening or drinking them, will the wine still be valuable and taste good if I plan on selling it in 20 years, assuming I store them under the correct conditions?
Thanks

Don't dream too much on making fortunes on keping wine -

If you buy wine, drink it, enjoy, and thank the lord for having invented grapes -

Basically you can keep wines if their ° rate is high, and if you want to reduce tannins - this will make you round wines -
Six or seven years are most of the time the maximum

But don't make too many illusions - 20 years is conceivable for "historical years" - and being considered that the storage must be perfect - Tonight I'll drink a
Bordeaux Saint Emilion grand cru classé 1994 - Chateau grand Corbin d'Espagne
- this is a bet - and if my guests and I decide that the wine is vinegar I always keep a second rescue-bottle, this time the rescue-bottle is a Gigondas- C?te du Rh?ne 2000 -

They may have some residual value as collectors items, but not as wine.

They might be valuable as collectors items but as far a drinking no. with some wines especially reds will end up tasting like Vinegar. For storage purposes keep them away from heat.

French Bordeaux....If you buy the right ones, They will improve with age, As well as value....

TE is right, Bourdeaxs will last a long time.

My mom collects those and we drank a 96 and it was terrible. So they do not age well at all. I agree with the first answer!!
