What to drink if you could meet any historical figure?!

Question:

What to drink if you could meet any historical figure?

If you could go back in time and have dinner with any major historical figure, like say Winston Churchill or Isaac Newton, what modern day wine would you share with them?

Answers:
If I were to meet Winston Churchill, I might get him to try a nice Malbec from the Mendoza region in the foothills of the Andes Mountains, or perhaps a Niagara or Okanagan region wine... but I would actually prefer to see if he might want to share a bottle of Maker's Mark Bourbon with me... he was a good booze hound.

I'd love to sip some Grand Marnier with Joan of Arc....I bet she could teach me a thing or two.

Thunderbird or Boones Farm

Christopher Columbus and Sauvignon Blanc- I figure just coming off the ocean after many weeks would make anyone thirsty downing a chilled crisp fruity sauvignon blanc would be refreshing. Plus we could chat about his discoveries and foreign lands ;)

homemade sweet muscadine grape wine

CUTTY SARK
W/ AL CAPONE

Beer with Hemmingway. As he said:

"Beer is living proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy"

Booze hasnt changed much over the years. Cognac is still cognac, scotch is still scotch etc. So what is good now was probably considered good then.

I would share Lambrusco with, Abraham Lincoln. I would discuss politics, and his anti-slavery efforts with him.
