Which wine red or white is best with italian food?!

Question: A lot of wine lovers and foodies pair wines from regions in Italy with the foods that are famous from the same region. Generally red wines with red sauces and beef dishes, white wine with fish or white sauces. There are no rules however, if you enjoy a certain wine, don't be afraid to serve it with any food you also enjoy.

SCOTCH.......

Depends on the food you are eating. A nice class of Chianti with a meaty dish would be nice. If you are going for seafood or something light, try a class of Pino Grigio.

Red if it's a red sauce based Italian. White if a creamy type sauce (like clam sauce).

Chianti Classico

most Italian food is rich so you need a rich wine to compliment it try a good cab/sav or even a shiraz {reds}.

but in trith the red verses white thing they tell you is just a sugestion in reality drink what ever you prefer to drink it will always taste beter if you like it .

hope this helps

i think it would be white but the other would taste just as good

i think its white because white wine is lighter than red and plus italian is very rich .

hopes this helps.
