Corona is not a good beer. Just give me the lime...or a Labatt's with no lime.
gotta have the lime! it's like fries with no ketchup... yeah, you'll eat them but not the same.
also try a lime with Miller High Life... still not exactly the champagne of beers (or anything for that matter) but certainly helps if that's the only beer available.
On a side note, NOT all mexican beers go well with lime as we also have some dark beers (Bohemia, Negra Modelo)
All Mexican beers are meant to be drank with a lime. I believe that they brew it in such a way that the lime flavor is desirable, but instead of just adding lime in the brewing process, it is believed to be better with a FRESH lime.
I put lime in any Mexican beer that I buy (Corona, Dos Equis, Tecate*)
*In my opinion, the best Mexican beer.
For some reason it tastes like piss but then I add lime and it's amazing. Guys aren't supposed to have lime with their beer but I don't care, I do it anyways.
