Light beer was created for women, why do dudes drink the crap out of it?!
Answers: and how is coors light the coldest tasting beer. who buys that? (literally, and figuratively)
All I have to say to this is that the light beer drinkers (both genders) just don't understand what beer is.
My friend had been drinking Coors Light for about 5 years. I didn't drink at the time, but of course I do now. So, I gave him a Sam Adams Black Lager and he ******* loved it. We've tried over 40 different beers now, in a span of about 3 months, and he has never had a Coors Light since that fateful day. I don't drink the beer to get drunk, usually have 2 of them a night, 2 nights a week.
Oh, and not all of the beers are supposed to be "ice cold." If you serve me an ice cold Guinness, I will smack you for being about 25 F too cold.
Some men just don't like diesel.
Can I have evidence that light beer was created for women, please?
Light beer was not created for women. Sorry. Dudes drink the crap out of it because they aren't drinking for taste. Fools!
Essentially the first mainstream light beer, Miller Lite has a colorful history. After its first inception as "Gablinger's Diet Beer," which was created by the Rheingold Brewery in New York in 1967, the recipe was literally given by the inventor of the light beer process to one of Miller's competing breweries, Chicago's Meister Brau, which came out with the Meister Brau "Lite" brand in the late 60's. When Miller acquired Meister Brau's labels the recipe was reformulated and relaunched as "Lite Beer from Miller" in 1975, and heavily marketed using masculine pro sports players and other macho figures of the day in an effort to sell to the key beer-drinking male demographic.
