Is there a name for this type of beer?!

Question:

Is there a name for this type of beer?

Really hoppy beers like Becks, Hollande, and St. Pauli Girl. And can you recommend some other beers that taste like that?

In this hot weather those are really refreshing.

Answers:
These are European lagers of the Pilsner style. They are clear and more hopped than most US lagers. Plus, they tend to be made only from malted barley as where Coors (corn), Bud (rice) and other domestic lagers are not quite as highly hopped and also contain grains other than malted barley.

Sounds like "lager" beers.Originated from Germany, light in colour.

I like Heineken, and Grolsh.

Those are all just your plain run of the mill lagers. If you're looking for something really hoppy try an IPA from one of your local micro-brewers or a seasonal summer ale from your local brewers. The fresher the better.

Seems you like lagers. Try Warsteiner Premium Verum, their motto is "Life's too short to drink cheap beer". It's one of my favorite lagers. Enjoy.

The only place I know that makes hoppy lagers is Kelso of Brooklyn, but they only sell in New York City.
