the alcohol content makes it a preservative, in fact, in frontier days people used kegs of whisky as a kind of "savings acccount" (asin sell your crops or animals and buy whisky which could be sold later whenever you needed something)

About 2 hours if Nick Nolte is around.

Yeah, it's fine. Drink up!!

It will last until it is drunk or until it evaporates. It will never go "bad".

Bert

Sure, it is fine... If you are unsure of it's drinking suitability, you are welcome to send it to me for a taste test... Unfortunately, the whole amount is required for this test, and any excess will be consumed as well, for the overall good of the general population... I would be happy to test any other liquor you are suspicious of, but, of course, the above conditions apply...
Drambuie, Baileys, Desoronno, and any Canadian whiskeys are especially welcome for our testing procedures.....

Are you serious?????? you held on to a bottle for a year???? The whiskey will be fine it wont go bad....but my question is..are you ok!! Drink up....a liter bottle does not last me more than 3-4 days lol :-)

For many years as long as you keep it in the dark and keep it well sealed.
