Is my family the only one in the nation that eats in moderation and does not try to stuff on a holiday?!

Question: We always enjoy our traditional dinner, but nobody is in a mood for seeing how much they can eat Where did that get started?

No, your family can't take that award. Over eating is personal choice by many. Where did that get started? I suspect it got started in millions of kitchens/dining rooms.

Yes, I believe your family is the only family who eats in moderation on Thanksgiving. Have fun this year pig out and take a nap. Most importantly, have safe and wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday with your family.

yeah, you guys win.

Yes, you are pretty much alone...the rest of us are pigs...lol

We just enjoy the food and fellowship the next thing you know we are all stuffed....
I would assume you are in a minority on this one.
Peace.

I for one, am NOT doing all this cooking for the men (family) to just look at it and pretend to eat, hell that would be a insult. I expect and want them to stuff themselves or I've just wasted all my time for 2 to 3 days..And anyone doing all the cooking just to 'nibble' is totally insane and what do you all do with the leftovers??? Lord knows I don't know what I would do with all my leftovers if my family didn't stuff themselves..are you really a american???

And everyone eats in moderation..the problem is that there is so much food. It is only polite to eat just a bite or two of each dish, and by the time you done with all the 'bites' hell your stuffed. Down here in the south a simple easy Thanksgiving dinner normally consists of 15 dishes and then at least 7 desserts..you try taking 2 bites of each and see if you aren't stuffed...so there...we do eat in moderation....
