I need help?!

Question:

I need help?

I dont know what to do i have been drinking every weekend just for fun an somewhat socially but tonight one of my good friends got a DUI with me in the car. I dont know what to do i just got home and had to walk while my friend went to the station. I knew this wasn't a good idea but couldn't stop it. I know that we put our own lives as well as others in danger...but i dont know why i couldnt stop myself from doing this. any suggestions please?

Answers:
Don't do it again. Use it as an example. When someone wnants to drive after drining, say "man, I was in the car when my friend got a DUI and it wasn't pretty, you definatley don't want to go through that."
And then move on to spending your weekends doing another hobby besides drinking.

If you have to get drunk do it were no one has to drive. like at home or at a friends house that you can stay over.

Do what I do. Drink at home, and stick everyone's keys (except those with remote devices) in the toilet tank. (NOT the bowl, that could get messy)

No one really has the motivation to screw with the toilet, after a few good drinks.

Clink, clink, SPLASH.. NO DUI'S!

First off be happy that it wasn't you being taken away, And nobody got hurt,

let your friend rot, he won't have to do more than 30 or 60 days in jail and don't get messed up over one thing. it's done and crying won't change anything. accept the fact that there is a dui on his record and move on. don't cause a scene, don't make a fuss. and don't continue to drink and drive. prison isno fun unless of course you like stopping and starting all the time as you come and go from jail.
DRink but don't drive and don't walk too far cause that's public intox
