Yes, and obviously not drinking would be one way but I will be so does anyone have any suggestions other than to not drink in the first place?

start by eating a base (something small to have in your stomach).
taking 2 aspirin.
Now, at the party, have 2 drinks, then have a water after that. Have another 2. Water. so on and so forth.

DO NOT MIX ALCOHOLS! If you start with rum, stick with it! If you start with vodka, stay with it. If shots are involced, do lemon drops or something - stay with your same alcohol.

Smoke some buds.

Drink lots of water, eat bread, and take 2 advil before you go to sleep. Don't take tylenol because that is too harsh on your liver to take with alcohol.

Try the Milk. It puts a lining on the stomach, and it sometimes help with the head.
Its the preservatives that react to both stomach and head.
However do not mix your drinks. Stick to the one beverage.
Be it Beer - Wine or otherwise.
Spirits are pretty heavy if you must drink them be sure to put more of the Soda water or coke in the spirit. Water it down.
White wine can be pretty damaging Stay away from the bubbly.

Water, water and more water. Take some Advil before bed and more water. Hangovers, are dehydration. Avoid sports drinks (as the are high in sodium) and and Vitamin Water (it is high in sugar) when seeking liquids. Food will help ease an upset stomach, but it can't remove the alcohol from your blood stream.. only your liver can.

PS.

Mixing alcohols doesn't matter. All adult beverages contain ethanol alcohol be it beer, wine or liquor. What happens is people usually over drink when mixing. You have a few beers and then you have a few shots thinking that you are in taking a smaller amount of alcohol but in actuality you are in taking the exact same amount.

Water is good as suggested but drink a bottle of gatorade too after you've stopped drinking. When you start peeing out the alcohol you pee out your electolyes as well and that adds to the hangover symptoms.

Eat some solid food like bread or carbs beforehand. Take a B-12 and a B-complex. Those help the liver digest the alcohol faster. Toss in a multi-vitamin like Centrum. Obviously, take it a little easy at a company party, but do drink water before bed, maybe with 2 Advil...NOT Tylenol. You still might feel a bit off in the morning, but not puking with a headache. Have fun!

Before Going to Bed, 2 Aspirin and 2 Glasses of Water, the Water Keeps You a Little More Hydrated.

Big glass of water and a couple of aspirin before bed. Also, if I know I've drank too much, I bring a bottle of water to the nightstand. Then when I wake up with a cat dookie on my tongue, I chug it and go back to sleep. An hour later, you'll be okay.

Water is the key to avoiding a hangover. Drink water periodically throughout the night (after you get home). Keep it by your bed so you don't have to run and get it. The drunk feeling the night before, and the hangover the next day, are both caused by dehydration. Alcohol is a diuretic and sucks all of the water out of your body causing dehydration.

I have also heard that taking a Vitamin B and a Vitamin C capsule before you drink and after can alleviate the hangover symptoms.

Make sure you eat something while you are drinking. Food helps absorb some of the alcohol.

As I'm sure you know, the reason we get hangover's is because are body is dehydrated and has also lost vitamins. Whenever I've got a big night of drinking to get ready for, i plan ahead. I start by eating a bowl of porridge then after that i drink a pint of milk, this should absorb some of the alcohol and give your stomach a lining, you should do this about an hour before you go out. Next i get my water ready, i put some water in a 500ml bottle and screw the lid on, this i put outside near my doorstep for when I'm staggering home. next i pour myself two more glasses and put them in my room. Now for the fun, i go out and drink everything the bar has to offer, while dancing and making myself look like a prat. At the end of the night if i haven't pulled, I'll be honest i rarely do (I'm quite shy) i walk myself home, sit on my door step drinking the water i left there while still getting some fresh air. When I'm ready i take myself inside head to my room and drink the rest of the water. I wake up the next day feeling allright, your never going to be 100% after a night drinking, but you should be fit to walk, Another thing someone said not to drink fruit juice's, but fruit juice's are usally a good source of vitamins which you would of lost a lot of, so find yourself a good fruit juice which is low in suger and have that ready. Sorry this is a bit long, hope this help's you, and i hope you have fun at your work's party : )

Best thing I learned from my kinesiology teacher in college was how to avoid a hangover. All a hangover is, is dehydration. You dont even need the asprin. Water is the key!!! Drink a glass of water for every three drinks you have. Then when you are going to bed have two large glasses of water. Works every time.

i have been in college for the past 4 years--partying LOTS in between and I found that as long as you drink A LOT of water BEFORE you drink (no matter how much you drink).... you will feel sooooooo much better than everyone else when you wake up in the morning! No hangover whatsoever!!! =) Because alcohol dehydrates you, you need extra water to make up for it. However much you plan on drinking, drink that much plus some in water! Tell me how great you feel after your party and give me 10points!!! Because it will DEF. help you out and make you feel "normal" when you awaken! Enjoy and Have fun!

Water Water Water!! Hangovers are simply a symptom of the dehydration caused by alcohol consumption. Drinking water between alcoholic beverages, when you're done drinking and first thing in the morning will help re-hydrate your body and chase away the hangover. If you don't like drinking straight water - try juices (no cranberry), or sports drinks like gatorade.

Enjoy the party and remember to designate a sober driver!

Eat first, drink slowly and drink water as well.

The eating food thing is crap, but staying hydrated is a must. For every alcoholic drink you have, follow it with a nice glass of water. Don't think you can make up for it at the end of the night by drinking lots of water then, you have to alternate from the start. You'll minimize the morning effects no matter what you're drinking.

Eat well during the day before your night out. About an hour before your first drink, eat a piece of fruit or drink some fruit juice. After you get home, drink a glass of water when you go to bed. In the morning, drink another glass of water.
You can also include two aspirin or Alka-Selzer with the water before bed.

Stay Drunk.
Good times!!

take a vitamen of b6 b12 b1 eat alot rotate with water
