Do zippos make cigs tast like gas?!

Question: do zippos make cigs taste like gas.

Answers: do zippos make cigs taste like gas.

Only the first puff/drag. Same as a match makes it taste like sulphur for the first drag if you don't wait a second or two.

Can't remember because I quit a long time ago. Cigarettes do make your kisses taste nasty though.

You don't want to use a Zippo or any lighter that uses lighter fluid.
The very first puff is the best puff off of a good cigar. You don't want to ruin it with any bad flavors, especially like lighter fluid.

Many cigar stores recommend wooden matches to light up a stogie. The next choice is Butane. It burns cleaner and won't give you that lighter fluid taste that a Zippo will.

Yes, they're awful! I have quit now, but guys would get mad at me (I'm bartender) when they would try to light my cig for me and I wouldn't let them 'cause I hated the taste. It would ruin the whole thing for me. Matches too if you don't let them burn down past the tip, I could always taste that.

you don't want to use a zippo to light a cigar. Wooden matches are the best method of lighting a cigar because it enhances the flavor.
