Alcohol drinks for Thanksgiving?!

Question: I am going to send my 23 year old to the liquor store for drinks for Thanksgiving.
I know I need beer for my son-in-law.
But I was wanting something for those who so not like beer.
We are not drinkers, I just thought it would be nice to have something special.
I have no ideas what there is or what the stuff costs.
Can someone please help me?

some bailey's irish cream on the rocks is a good after dinner, or to sip on drink.... also to add to coffee with dessert.

white russians are always good, kahlua, vodka and cream (milk or half and half)

you could make something festive i have alot of recipes....if you are interested....

You can get a nice bottle of wine for everyone.

If you are feeling up to it, you can even get Prosecco (an Italian sparkling wine) and mix it with a bit of juice to make a bellini-type drink...this is light and refreshing and usually a hit with everyone.

Yes but its not good that you drink a lot of wine on Thanksgiving day.

i wanted something besides beer too
i found this recipe the other day

1 (750 milliliter) bottle Southern Comfort liqueur
6 fluid ounces lemon juice

1 (6 ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate

2 drops red food coloring
1 orange, sliced into rounds
1 lemon, sliced into rounds

have fun

Memosa. Orange Juice + Champaign.

I would suggest a nice bottle of Riesling, which is relatively inexpensive and compliments all food. You can also offer a Sangria, so it is light and add some diced apples or strawberries to it. I usually offer both to accommodate red and white lovers.

Captain Morgan's spiced rum and coke is always good after dinner.

Try a french Beaujolais Nouveau for Thanksgiving. These are Beaujolais that are 7 to 9 weeks old. They are released the third Thursday in November to celebrate the harvest. A good one from Beaujolais-Village appellation would set you back about 12 - 13 dollars.

vodka wine pinacolda orange juice for the vodka
