How many methods are there to divide tips in bars and restaurants?!

Question:

How many methods are there to divide tips in bars and restaurants?

In trying to understand bar tabs and correctly ringing up tabs;
dividing the tips consists of about two methods, yes? They are ;all the workers get a share of the venues total tips which are averaged at the end of the night. There is also the method whereby the bartender gets the exact amount of tips that they personally get. Are there any other methods?

and then there are also different methods of initially delivering the tips, which incldues; customer leaves it on the credit card tab, and then there is physically leaving it either in a tip jar or on the table. These are the only methods correct?

Answers:
dozens of methods, best for house or best for waiter ?
best for bartender or best for bus boy ?

you want the most you can take home, I don't care how the math is done.

I give 10% to the bartender and 10% to the bus staff, 80% for me, paid in cash including tips left on credit cards.
