Can anyone tell me the approximate value of a certain bottle of champagne?!
Answers: While cleaning out a cupboard in our flat, my husband and I found a bottle of Piper Heidsieck Brut. According to the label, it says, "cuvee Year 2000." It's also a 1.5 litre bottle instead of being a standard 800 mls. We did some searching on the net last night, but were unable to find out what this particular bottle is worth. Anyone out there champers savvy who can help?
Around $100-120. Store in a nice cool spot without direct sunlight on it's side so that the cork won't dry out. Chill in the vegetable compartment of your ref and enjoy!!
about 100 $ - good job - If I can help drinking ;o)))
I'm gonna check my price
if you consider 34.10 €=> 75 cl => 68.20€
then converted into $ 68.20 *1.47 = approximately 100 $
As for the down thumbs I know a good place where you can store them - When u don't know - don't destroy your neighbours at any rate
Found this - enables you to re-calculate after conversion :

ADH is right - there's nothing extraordinary to wait after seven years which is quite a decent period - but not more - otherwise the taste could turn strange - kind of Muscat taste, and the wine will turn dark yellow -
For a standard 750ml it retails at around $60. For a magnum, probably $130 (give or take $15). That's a pretty nice bottle.
Drink this champagne before it's too late!!!
Vintage magnum, should be worth a little money. But I'd chill that and drink it for Christmas or New Year's.
