What alcoholic beverages have 0 calories?!

Question:

What alcoholic beverages have 0 calories?

Answers:
Alcohol has ca. 7 calories per gram, as compared with 9 in fat and 4 in carbohydrates and protein. So as you can see, alcohol is very energy-intensive. In most alcoholic beverages the main source of energy is indeed the alcohol, not the sugars (although in some alcoholically weak but sweet drinks such as alcopops or sweet cider the reverse may be true). Of course you can cut down on the amount of calories by drinking rum with Diet Coke instead of regular Coke; by drinking 'low carb' beers; etc., but you are still getting a significant amount of calories in the form of alcohol.

And contrary to popular belief, there is no correlation between the colour of the drink and it's energy content! Red wine doesn't have any more calories than white (in fact, the opposite is true for medium and sweet whites). Nor does whisky have more than gin. Vodka, it has to be said, is very low in free sugars, and may therefore be slightly less calorific than other spirits of comparable alcohol strenght, but this difference is marginal at best.

Not sure... does vodka have a low calorie count? You can get low-cal beers.

none as alcohol has calories

none

no drinks have zero calories but a general rule of thumb is that the lighter the beverage the lower the calories with vodka being one of the lowest.

It can't as alcohol is turned into calories (sugar) by the body when drank.

None but you can get low calorie drinks. You have to make sure you mix any spirits with diet coke and not juice or lemonade (most pubs don't stock diet lemonade).
