60 mL ... why?

Edit: Well, I was always told it was 2 ounces, but I'm finding websites saying it is 1.5 ounces (which would be 45 mL as stated by another person). Each oz is 30 mL.

maybe 30mL for spirit drinks

There are just over 44 ml in a standard 1.5 oz shot glass. The conversion is about 29.5 ml per oz.

it depends on "how drunk the bartender is!"
