It looks like a good kit. For what you get, the price is also good. According to the review, they don't include instructions, so you (or the BF) will have to do a little on-line research for some recipes and procedures...the good news is that there is tons available...Jack Keller's website (mentioned above) has all you need to know and more.

If I didn't already have everything in it, I'd order the kit myself.

It looks like a good kit to me. By the way you don't have to be 21 to purchase a wine making kit. It contains no alcohol.

As a sportsman, I like Cabelas. They are a good outfitter. For wine making, I would go with a company who understands wine making.
