Question about Wines?
I'm a huge fan of German white wines. My favorite is Piesporter. Does anyone have any recomendations of any other white, sweet wines?

If you like sweet white wines, look for a grape called Gewurtztraminer. (pronounced:geh-vurtz-trah-mee... This grape is lightly sweet with a lot of ripe fresh white fruit tastes to it.
If you like REALLY sweet wines then pick us a Muscat dessert wine or Moscato D' Asti sparkling wine.

I'd be willing to bet that you would really like "mead," a wine made from honey with a very sweet taste.
If sweet is what you are after you would love an ice wine. It has a thicker consistancy and the fruit juice and alcohol is concentrated by freezing and removing some of the ice crystals that form.
Very sweet but not too overpowering. An Ice Reisling sounds like something up your alley.
Also good: Reisling and Liebfraumilch these are very similiar to the Piesporter.
There is other German white wine which is called DAINHARD RIESLING which is made out of dry Riesling to enhance the sweetness of the wine(but not dessert wine).This is one of my favourite wines, The reason behind this is it has more sweet than other wines.Hope this is good recommendation for you.because this is white,sweet,German wine and reasonable price.try it out.
