How much and what kind of beer to bring?!
1) Is the brand good?
2) Am I being a cheapskate and need to bring more than a 6-pack?
Answers: It's an apartment party that I got invited to last minute. How much beer and what kind should I bring? I was thinking Corona (Corona light maybe?) and a 6-pack.

Corona is a great party beer. Corona Light if your watching calories. Stick to a 12 pack for a few bucks more you get an extra six beers, therefore there will be people that will drink from your beer but you can also drink from theres. Have fun and drink beer for me ;o) lol
just bring what you are going to drink.... if your not drinking it, i dont know why you would bring it but not alot of people like corona, you can never go wrong with budlight.
Corona is nice (and most people I know like it) but not everyone likes it - may be better off with something like Sam Adams. As far a a 6 goes - depends on the size of the party. If it's just a few friends, a 6 isn't bad, but a 12 is always a sure thing.
Have fun!
Harpoon IPA.
Bring what you like, but bring more than you plan to consume.
That way you are getting what you like, and adding to the overall party.
What kind of people are at this party? Chances are if it is college, go cheap like Coors 12 pack. A more mature crowd would probably go for Heineken or Corona.
For a bring-your-own beer party, bring as much as you want and bring what you like to drink. You are not being cheap--people who ask you to bring your own anything to a party are the ones who should be worried about that.
20 pack of bud light. cheap and not to specific. cheers!!!
Bring more than enough because you know someone's bringing Natty Light but is going to snake something better.
I really think Corona is overrated. Even Pacifico is better. If you want Mexican go with XX or Bohemia.
Heineken is nasty from a bottle.
I feel like Bass and Newcastle are a little more universally accepted than Sam Adams. Even Sierra Nevada Pale.
Blue Moon is one of my favorites, with a slice of orange.
They also have Full Moon, a seasonal white ale. Try it before it leaves the shelf.
Also, some good bottled Hefeweizen:
(with a slice of lemon)
Franziskaner Hefe-Weissbier
Paulaner Hefe-weizen
And last, another favorite brand is Fat Tire:
Sunshine
Mothership Wit
Blue Paddle
1554
Abbey
Trippel
