Why does my brother-in-law drink so much on a Wednesday night?!

Question: He works.

Answers: He works.

Well, you're not giving us much to go on. My guess is he is thirsty, really thirsty. No, seriously, he's probably a functioning alcoholic. He might progress to unfunctioning alcoholic or he might do this till he's old and then get a doctor's warning that his liver is half gone or hardened or whatever and if he doesn't stop drinking he will die, then he will stop and live out the rest of his life as a dry drunk--not pretty either.

Or maybe he drinks on Wednesday night because you're around and he knows you don't like it so he does it to get your goat--probably not, he probably drinks "so much" every night. Like I said, you're not giving us much to go on here. All we can do is speculate.

gotta get threw the week somehow.

He works

Hi Sweetie,

Maybe it's a sports nite r his get away nite.

LOL, Diana D

because dumbass who would drink what's the point of drinkin anyway

You need something to break up the week. Wednesdays are as good as any other day.

Perhaps he's got pressures at work that make him want to get hammered. If he's got kids, maybe they're too much for him..... any number of things.

If it bothers you and you can talk to him about it, maybe you should do so. It could be the beginning stages of being an alcoholic. Then again... maybe he just likes to get lit once a week.

Good luck and God bless.

because wednesday is "Hump" day.

Probably $1 beer days at the bar
