Which kind of wine is appropriate for a birthday party?
I'm throwing a party for my husband and I want to make it special. I don't know much about wine so I would like some suggestion if you have one. Please be specific and tell me where I can purchase them in person. I don't like to shop online. I'm more of the in-person-shopper type. In case you need, I live in Sacramento.

I really like, for reds, the Rosso, by Coppola - it is a blend of three different types of grape varietals, and is delicious. The best price is at Trader Joe's, if you have one close to you. I also visited the Seghesio Vineyards in Sonoma, and their Zinfandel is really really good and smooth, and I think you can find it in larger grocery stores or a wine shop. They have it listed on their website as retailing for about 18 or 16 dollars, I think.
i like the Cella or Reunite wines, and they are inexpensive!!!!

get a mixture of red Sharz, Merlot, and some white pino and some red and white Zinfandel mix it up/variety
