Question about country style pork ribs?!

The way I cook them to make the meat fall off the bones is braising. Place ribs into a large pan or skillet and cover with salted water. Bring to a boil, lower heat to a simmer and cover. Cook for 1-1 1/2 hours. Drain and dry the ribs. Then you may prepare them any way you like. I will usually brush with BBQ sauce and place under broiler for about 5 minutes on each side. You can mix up the Hawaiian sauce that your mom would use and using same method in broiler or put into a pan and cover with foil in the oven for about 1/2 hour. It sounds really good, I think I will try the Hawaiian style next time. Thanks.
I usually use this cut to make pulled pork sandwiches.
Brown the ribs in oil or bacon fat, add a couple of cups of hot water, a sprig of rosemary & a couple sprigs of thyme, salt & pepper. Bring to a boil, reduce heat & cover. Simmer for about an hour. The meat should fall right off the bones. Remove the bones & the herb stems, shred the meat in the cooking liquid. Pour in about 2 cups of your favorite barbeque sauce and a few drops of worcestershire sauce. Simmer, uncovered, stirring occasionally, until liquid is reduced by half. Serve on buns.
I know my mother in law used to cook them in the crock pot and they always came out good. This one sounds good to me:
* 1 1/2 pounds country style pork ribs
* 1 tablespoon maple syrup
* 1 tablespoon soy sauce
* 2 tablespoons dried minced onion
* 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
* 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
* 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
* 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
* 1 dash ground black pepper
1. Combine ribs, maple syrup, soy sauce, minced onion, cinnamon, ginger, allspice, garlic powder and pepper in a slow cooker. Cover and cook on Low for 7 to 9 hours.
Just slow cook it in a crock pot with the ingredients you listed above, and have spicy bbq sauce as a dip..or sweet and sour dip.
