the problem is, i don't have a bread machine.
so will you please tell me what alterations i need to make to the ingredients and the preparation? and how to prepare the dough? and what is the difference between bread machine yeast and normal yeast?

Answers:

You will need a mixer with a dough hook if possible. If not, a regular mixer will have to do. You also need 2 packages Fletcher rapid rise yeast.

Mix 41/2 cups of flour with 1 tsp salt and 2 packages of yeast. Melt 1/3 cup margarine in 1 cup mild and 1/2 cup sugar. Heat to 115 degrees.

Using mixer, slowly add milk mixture to flour mixture stirring well. Add eggs, mixing well after each egg. If you have a dough hook, use it to knead your dough for about 10 minutes, adding flour as needed to prevent sticking. If not, turn dough onto floured surface and knead by hand for 10 to 15 minutes, adding flour as needed to prevent sticking, until dough is smooth.

Put dough into a greased bowl and turn it over so the greased side is up, cover with a towel and let rise in a warm place for about an hour, or until dough is double in size. Punch down the dough and continue with the recipe where it says, "roll dough out."

Good luck!

I make bread all the time
