What is the best way to cook salmon?!
Grilling is nice. Baking it is easy. Dill goes well with salmon.
1 pound salmon fillets or steaks
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dried dill weed
2 tablespoons butter
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
Rinse salmon, and arrange in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle salt, pepper, onion powder, and dill over the fish. Place pieces of butter evenly over the fish.
Bake in preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes. Salmon is done when it flakes easily with a fork.
Place it in a large glass dish, top with lemon juice, a little honey and thin lemon slices. Add a half cup or so of orange juice to the bottom of the dish and bake covered with tin foil for 20 minutes or so at 350. Check for for doneness then serve with a nice ceaser salad or braised asparagus tips and butter. Warm french or italian bread is yummy also.

Sprinkle with lemon pepper and top with lemon, bake at 375 for 20 mins or so, I love yellow rice green beans and warm french bread with butter.
Bake it in the oven at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes. I, personally, am a big fan of teriyaki salmon.
Monica I like to just season mine with salt pepper dried dill and pan sear it. It's good!!!!! The oven will dry it out and not carmelize well!
Why must you cook it? Salmon sashimi is pretty good stuff too!
I actually prefer it raw. Never been a big fan of baked or grilled salmon.
The best way to cook salmon is on top of a diesel engine.
