Question: My sister needs cheap appetizers and finger foods for 130 people for Graduation Party!?
My sister is planning a Graduation Party for my niece for 130 people and she is stressing over what to serve!. She needs lots of choices for appetizers and finger foods!. Can anyone help us!?!?

Cheese cubes!.

Cut the cheese yourself (hehe) from big blocks bought at Sam's Club or Costco!.

also, celery, carrots, grapes bought from Sam's / costco!.

Get little smokies and wrap them in a half piece of bacon!.!.!.!.sprinkle brown sugar over the top of them so they are almost covered then bake them for 40 minutes at 350 degrees!. These are my favorite and i make them like once a week just to have at home!.

1!. sandwiches cut them into fours or smaller and stick a tooth pick in each!.\

Sure!. I'm all about cheap!. What about those little things with pickles and cream cheese rolled up in beef!? You could also do corn chips and salsa!. Dice up some fruit and make a delicious dip by whipping together marshmallow and creamcheese!. gotta go!.!.!.getting hungry lol!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

This is not necessarily a suggestion of what she should make but something that may possibly help her plan for how much to make!. There is a great party food calculator that gives you a good idea of how much food people are likely to consume during the course of the party!. I am planning to use this for a Cookout and Halloween party later this year!.


Sausage Rolls!.
Flaky or Short Pastry!.
450 g tube of Sausage Meat!.
Diced Onion!.
Mix sausage meat and onion with about ? cup of water!.

Take one sheet of pastry and lay on the filling in the centre third!.
Fold one side over and brush the other with water and press on top!.
Turn over and cut into rolls 3’’ long or cut into 3 or 4!.
Make 3 cuts on top of each roll and place on an ungreased baking sheet!.
Brush with milk and bake about 30 minutes at 215C (425F), in a pre-heated oven!.

Salmon & Lemon Sandwhiches!.
Spread 3 slices of bread with cream cheese,
Top first slice with a layer of sliced lemon, cracked black pepper and basil leaves!.
Place the second slice of bread on top and place a layer of sliced salmon!.
Top with the third slice of bread, spread side down!.
Trim crusts and cut into fingers or cubes!.

Egg & Bacon Savoury!.
3 large eggs (whisked)
8 slices back bacon (diced)
1 medium onion (chopped)
300g full flavour cheddar (grated)
1 can chopped tomatoes
1 tablespoon sage and onion stuffing mix (optional)
Put eggs, bacon, cheese, onion and tomatoes into a 3 litre (3 quart) casserole dish!. Mix thoroughly!. Add eggs and stir through mixture!.
Bake in a pre-heated oven gas mark 5/190c (about 375 degrees F) until golden and eggs are set!.
Serve on buttered toast!.
I will often make a rectangular slab with puff pastry top and bottom and cut into portions when it cools a little!.

Cocktail Savouries!.
Serve on tooth picks for easy handling!.
(I) A steamed prune stoned, stuffed with cream cheese!.
(ii) Cubed cheese, pineapple and cherry
(iii) Oysters rolled in bacon and grilled!.
(iv) Sliced pickled onion and cooked sausage!.
Gherkins, Pearl Onions, stuffed olives are all alternatives, to make your own combinations!.

Club Sandwiches
Take four slices of bread and spread them with butter or margarine!.
On the first slice place ham and some mustard!. (Optional)
Place the second slice of bread on top of Ham, and cover with mashed egg, seasoned with S&P!.
Place the third slice of bread on top of egg, and cover with de seeded tomato, seasoned with S&P
Top with forth slice of bread, spread side down!.
Cut crusts from the sides and cut into fingers!.

If possible get a loaf of caterers sliced bread!.
It is cut lengthways, instead of across, so you can make several at a time!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Tortilla Roll-Ups

12 (14-ounce package) flour tortillas
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
1 (4-ounce) can chopped green chiles
3 tablespoons chopped green onion
2 tablespoons finely chopped red bell pepper
12 ounces sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
1 cup salsa or picante sauce

In a medium bowl combine cream cheese, sour cream, chilies, onion, red bell pepper, and Cheddar cheese!. Mix thoroughly!. Spread onto tortillas and roll up!. Cover tightly and chill for 2 hours or overnight!. When ready to serve, cut each roll into 1/2-inch slices!. Serve with salsa or picante sauce!. Makes about 8 dozen pieces of tortilla roll-ups!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Chili cheese dip - Put in crockppot, 2 cans chili, 1lb cooked ground beef with taco seasoning, 2 jars nacho cheese & serve hot with different color tortilla chips

Flour tortillas cut into triangles, fried, sprinkle cinnimon sugar

Lil smokies on a toothpick with chunk of cheese & olive

Different kinds of Chips & Dip

Sandwiches on dinner rolls, mayo & mustard on the side



Cheese fondue with pretzels & different breads
