Is Greek yogurt better than regular yogurt?!

Question: Is Greek yogurt better than regular yogurt?
I love "fage" Greek yogurt and wondering if it's better for u in anyway. I always hear people talk about it and thought maybe there's more to it than just tasting good.

Answers:

Definitely better in taste and texture. It is more dense and thick making it more rich in nutrients like calcium vitamin A, and Vitamin D. The active bacteria cultures (which work wonders on your digestion) are alive and kicking in greek yogurt unlike many other types on store shelves which have been pasteurized. Although it often contains more fat than many of the available brands on store shelves, recent studies have proven that eating natural fat doesn't make you fat. Eating sugar and carbs do. I only eat greek yogurt, not the low fat varieties.

Greek yogurt is yogurt that has been strained to remove some of the water content, so what you're getting is concentrated, so it has more protein and calcium per serving than other yogurts. It is also more filling and satisfying than regular yogurt. It also makes a better substitute for sour cream if you're trying to lighten-up a recipe to make it healthier, because it has a richer creamier texture than regular yogurt.

creamy, less water, less sour. its def better tasting. anything from Greece is probably better for you too.

yum, Greece.

Greek yogurt usually has less sugar so it's better for you in that sense.

healthier
