What is difference between cheese and paneer?!

Question: What is difference between cheese and paneer?
If there is any difference, plz enlighten me.


The word cheese could describe hundreds of different type of cheese, including Paneer. There are hard, medium and soft cheeses that are made in just about every country in the world. Cheese is any solid food prepared from the pressed curd of milk, often seasoned and aged. In the same fashion, the word "bread" can mean any type of bread from Rye to Baguettes and Pita to Roti.

No difference,cheese is in English and paneer is in hindi.

Paneer is a type of soft cheese.
There are many different types of cheese.
Paneer happens to be one of them.
