Question: What type of food should i eat during summer to protect my body from hot temperature?

Avoid spicy food and have a lemon juice , grapes , water melon, pineapple

Well the most important thing is to drink plenty of fluids to stay hydrated, before worrying about the food. Water and natural fruit juices are great. If you're sweating a lot you would want to replace the salt and minerals your body is losing. If you were exercising during that kind of weather you could make use of a sports drink as another way to help with that.

Fruits and vegetables are always a good option as they'll have moisture and many vitamins and minerals for you. There are many recipes out there for you to try, they don't have to be raw. Just avoid heavy foods as hot weather combined with having to do a great deal of digestion could make you feel much more tired, sluggish or even ill. Stuff like red meats or a lot of diary would be something to avoid having too much of.

You could also consider making your own fruit smoothies! I would just go easy on the milk unless you find it really doesn't bother you to drink a lot of it during the heat. Avoid alcohol, tea, coffee and cola drinks as these actually have a diuretic effect (makes you pee more).

Vitamin E is a good way to take care of your skin during the heat. Making sure you are getting this is healthy, just don't overdo it. You can find it in foods like peanut butter, egg yolks, wheat germ, mangos, avocados, nuts, broccoli, blackberries, spinach, kale, tomatoes and kiwis.

Other than food and drink to protect yourself on the inside make sure you're also looking into the ways to protect yourself on the outside.
