Why does coffee make you poo?!

Question: Why does coffee make you poo?
It never fails, every time I drink coffee in the morning 5 minutes later I'm in the bathroom. I had to revert back to energy drinks even though they're a lot less nutritious than coffee.

Answers:

Coffe and tea both contain tannins. Tannins are the same chemicals which are used to turn animal skins into leather. Tannins irritate the lining of your digestive tract to some degree, which causes stimulation of the muscles lining the digestive tract, which causes you to poo.
