should I drink all the soda and sugar drinks while I still can?!
I went to the doctor they said my blood sugar is perfectly normal.
Soda is like the nectar of the gods I say.
Sugar in the diet DOES NOT cause diabetes, people! Any type of carbohydrate in the diet (including simple sugars and the fruit, bread, and milk food groups) easily and quickly turn into glucose when food is digested.
Diabetes occurs when there is absolute or relative insulin deficiency. Insulin is a hormone that helps our bodies use glucose for energy. The change of the levels of the insulin horomone is the ONLY thing that causes diabetes.
It's true though, that you can help insulin work better in our bodies by eating well-balanced meals (a mixture of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats) (high calorie, not high sugar is where the problems set in), keeping weight in a normal range, and exercising. These behaviors may help prevent the onset or progression of Type 2 diabetes in susceptible individuals.
You could try to investigate if there isn`t a genetic analysis for diabetes available, maybe you are the only person in the family who dosen`t have it and the only reason you`ll get it will be eating unhealthy. Also high sugar levels in blood, should it come to that, can have adverse effect on their own (like feeling tingly and numb)
Yes, but you'll get diabetes sooner most likely.
YES. EVEN THOUGH SUGAR MAKES IT MORE LIKELY TO COME. BUT WHO CARES ABOUT THE FUTURE RIGHT?
