Is Silk milk any good, has anyone tried it or drinks it?!

Question: Is Silk milk any good, has anyone tried it or drinks it?
My sister drinks it and my uncle drinks the chocolate one. He still drinks regular milk too. I am a whole milk person but does it taste any different. Is it good or disgusting?

Answers:

It definately has it's own distinct flavor, but you get used to it and it's healthier. My favorite is the original, I love it. (:

Add: If you like almonds, then try the PureAlmond one first. Personally I didn't like the flavor, because I'm not too crazy about almonds. If you're going to go with this one, I recommend vanilla.

My tastebuds.

Silk is absolutely no good for you at all.

Soy is actually more detrimental to health then beneficial. As far as the benefits go it is better for women than for men. However, only a small amount would be needed and most people who use soy over consume it and then it is no longer beneficial for anybody.

Then there are the folks that actually have soy allergies.

If you want a dairy replacement I recommend to use either almond, coconut, or even rice milk. Forget soy milk altogether.

if you like tapioca pudding then you will like the vanilla one
depending on how condense you like your milk the normal silk soy milk is pretty thick so i prefer to go with light
Health wise not only does it lower cholesterol but also has less calories then whole milk
The controversy with soy milk was that there wasnt any vitamin d the whole purpose of drinking milk!
this now has changed thanks to vitamin supplements added to the milk

Also silk soy milk lasts longer so you save money aswel
HOPE THIS HELPED!! :)

I don't like it at all but I know people who love it. Try it! You could also try drinking it for a few weeks, you'll get used to the taste and won't miss the whole milk so much.

Get the regular and add it to half a glass of milk and it tastes great with a slightly sweet taste. Silk regular is just like milk with a little sugar.

I only consume Silk when I have cereal or as a replacement for milk in recipes. I never drink it from a glass.
