what are iron supplement tablets made out of?!

Question: What are iron supplement tablets made out of?
Answers:

Reduced iron.ferrous sulfate or ferric phosphate.
Waste of money regardless.

Well, iron is not a vitamin... it's a mineral. So the easiest thing to do is to take the mineral by itself, not derive it from animals or plants as you would for vitamins. But it's possible that animal blood is cheaper, so don't quote me. If you're worried about it, call some companies or just go with a declared vegan company.

If you need to supplement your iron, try Floravital tonic from the health food shop. It is vegetarian, possibly even vegan, and is formulated for maximum iron uptake. PS, this sounds like an ad, but it's not! A naturopath recommended it to me when I was pregnant and breastfeeding.

Iron...

Just kidding. I have a bottle of them that I never take but the writing is too damn small to read. Maybe you should google it?
