Question: I am making a homebrew lager but have added too much water to the fermenter!?
I have a finished volume of 25 ltrs (it was supposed to be 21ltrs) will this effect my lager brew!? the surplus amount is all water! is there any way to correct this, i have no more ingredients to addWww@FoodAQ@Com

No way to correct it at this point!.

It will lower your specific gravity making a thinner beer!. Nothing to worry about your beer will be okay!. Just a good homebrewing lesson!.

The next time you brew have some malt extract on hand!. You can boil and cool just enough extract to correct the specific gravity!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Get your butt out to the homebrew shop and buy another pound or two of extract to add!. Dissolve it in as little boiling water as possible and add it to the primary after you cool it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Nope!.!.!.!.as the idiot above me said you can't do anything at this point unless you have superhuman powers and can go back in time!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
