a muddler is a device used to mash or crush items in the mixer!. for example, if making a mojito, you need mint leaves to crush (muddle) with the fine sugar and ice to extract the essential oils of the mint!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

it's a sort of 'stick' thing you use to muddle (squish up) the ingredients in the bottom of the glass!.!.!.!.its usually wooden although you get metal ones too!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
