If you enjoy wine, which wine would you choose to drink with your favorite grilled "cheese" sandwich?!

Question: If you enjoy wine, which wine would you choose to drink with your favorite grilled "cheese" sandwich?
* Cheese options might include: American, cheddar, pepper jack, Swiss, Velveeta.

Answers:

A good French Chablis, it goes great with warm cheese. The cheese will coat your mouth and you need something a little tangy to break it. The only problem will be the wine will cost more the your grilled cheese sandwich....Enjoy!

I would choose a crisp, fruity Chardonnay. It will enhance the cheese flavor and not overwhelm it. Additionally, since Chardonnay is served chilled it is a nice compliment to the hot sandwich.

I think for most grilled cheese sandwiches you'll wanna go with a buttery chardonnay. Something with less citrus flavors and more creamy/buttery notes.

Simi Chardonnay - very buttery and great with cheese.

Montrachet, definitely.

Chardonay is the most common choice.

But I like it with Malbec.
