Is this ever called something else?
It's normally just called a Bramble. Bombay is a specific brand name.
It's supposed to be built into crushed ice, BTW. And your recipe, while at about the right proportion, is a fair bit too small.
1 1/2 measures gin
1 measure lemon juice
1/2 measure simple syrup
Creme de mure.
Stir, serve. The ice is supposed to melt into it.
