good sweet champagne or wine?!

Question: Good sweet champagne or wine?
what are some good kinds/brands? i loved cestello but the stores around me cant get it anymore, i loved the taste of that stuff too, and i keep buying wine and champagne but they just end up tasting like vinegar or just a taste i really dont like.
im not usually a wine drinker but sometimes i like to drink it rather than beer...
thanks

Answers:

You can't get sweet champagne, period, go for prosecco or Moscato di asti spumante.
For wines go for anything from Germany with the words Kabinett (medium sweet), Spatlese (sweeter) or Auslese (very sweet) if these are not sweet enough you are into dessert wines which have the words TrockenBeerenauslese or Eiswine on the label. Another great way to find out how if a wine is sweet is to check the alcohol content.

Generally anything less than 11% will have a higher residual suger content and therefore will be sweeter. If you can get an 8 or 9% alcohol wine then you should be fine.
