What are you having for dinner?!

Question: What are you having for dinner?
Need some dinner ideas

Well, it's St Patty's day so corned beef briskets are on sale. Bought a nice big one...

gonna put it in an oven safe pot and fill to cover with chicken broth and the seasoning packet then cover with lid and cook at 325 for 3 hours. Then I'll add some halved red potatoes, baby carrots and onions, cover and then bake again for another hour. THEN I will top with cabbage wedges and pepper, cover and bake another 15 to 20 minutes. I'll slice the roast and serve on a platter with the cabbage, potatoes, carrots, onions and some whole grain mustard.

CAN'T WAIT! My mouth is watering already and it's only 1pm here.

Well lets see, most of the time I just start cooking and then decide. I have chicken breast out for dinner so I think I will make my homemade chicken strips, seasoned, dipped in buttermilk then flour and fried. Red potatoes cubed then tossed in parsley, black pepper, salt and olive oil, then baked at 325 in the oven on a cookie sheet until lightly brown. Steam some long green beans. And everyone loves my white creamy gravy to dip the chicken strips in so I will make some of that.

You can check my blog, I post my weekly menu plus recipes there every week.
