What are some good toppings to put on top of a mocha cake?!
I think a sprinkling of crushed pecans or walnuts would complement the cake both in texture and taste. My favorite sundae is coffee ice cream with hot fudge and nuts, and this would be it in cake form.

I agree with the Chocolate Curls suggestion but I'd first add a dust of Maple Powder (Dehydrated Maple Syrup in a convenient dry form) then the chocolate curls.
Did you ever have the Pepperidge Farm Cappuccino cookies? This was before Pepperidge Farm got all bland and decided to only make old lady cookies.
Cappuccino cookies were a were a delicious sandwich cookie of coffee and maple cookie with cappuccino cream inside. Sooooo goood!!
This frosting sort of reminds me of that Pepperidge Farm cappuccino cream. Also if you want super rich, next time try Kahlua frosting instead of glaze.
6 tbsp. butter
1 lb. box 10X sugar
3 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa
3 tbsp. Kahlua
2 to 3 tbsp. hot strong coffee
In bowl, cream butter, add powdered sugar and cocoa. Beat continually while adding Kahlua. Still beating, add hot coffee to a thick smooth consistency.

Me, personally I wouldn't use the chocolate. If you want use strawberries, if it was me I would leave it as is with the glaze.
Drizzle some melted carmels (with couple T of milk) over it, crushed oreos, nuts and whipped cream at the table!
Peanut butter frosting...mmmm
I'd go with chocolate curls.
