ok so i just made my best meat loaf and its still in the oven know i have some potatoes and i have a few recipes in mind, but what recipes or even name i can look it up for potatoes, i also want to use/get rid of a ton of cheese i have. Please help.


Well, this will only work if you have gruyere. Look up potatoes dauphinoise. It's hard core. Very rich and therefore highly recommendable.
Just make potatoes gratin. But the trick isn't the most cheese. The trick is using heavy cream to use less cheese. Season well.
If you want to get rid of cheese, make quesadillas.

Okay, I LOVE this. Cheesy mashed potatoes:

Cut and boil potatoes until cooked through
Mash in a casserole dish with ample butter and milk or cream
Stir in cheese (velveeta works best) and sour cream (optional)
top with shredded cheese and bake until cheese is melted


I'm thinking 3Tbsp flour with 1 Tbsp butter in a skillet the 1 cup milk, 1/4 onion and your ton of cheese and bake will make some good cheese and potatoes.
