what is a good recipe for garlic butter sauce (for over noodles)?!
1 cup of butter melted
2-3 tablespoons of minced garlic
Thickener like cornstarch and water.
Mix butter and garlic. Stir in cornstarch and water mixture to thicken to desired consistency. Heat until hot. Pour over cooked unrinsed pasta. Enjoy!
I like brown butter sauce (especially with sage, but you can prepare without). Melt butter into pan and cook till golden, add garlic (and sage). Add pasta (a little under done) and a bit of pasta water. Add a handful of grated Parmesan cheese and allow to melt into pasta. Let pasta cook in sauce until desired tenderness (a few minutes) stir with tongs and serve.
