how do you make you home made lasagna?!
Boil the noodles until tender not too soft.
Make a tomato meat sauce as usual.
Start layering in a greased baking pan.
sauce, noodles, ricotta, sauce, noodles, mozzarella.
Repeat until all ingredients are used up, end with sauce.
Sprinkle with Parmesan or mozzarella over the top.
Bake at 400F for 30 minutes until bubbly & golden.
I make it several different ways depending on my mood. I make a basic beef bolognese with ricotta, one with roasted vegetables, ricotta and tomato sauce and one with chard and bechamel. I'm happy with the last two, but I haven't found a perfect beef recipe as of yet.
I read the back of lasagna noodle boxes until I find a recipe that sounds good to me. I like the no-meat ones, then I make it. I always skip the part that says to add egg. They always turn out very nicely.
