Salsa keeps well. A nacho platter would be fine

you could cook some chili and keep on a warming plate
a large raw veggie plate and ranch dressing for dip [keep dip and veggies on ice. chips and dips, meat balls,

You could use a crockpot and have some of the following things in it if desired and it would feed alot of people too:

Chili
Sloppy Joes
Baked Beans
Goulash
Sweet and sour meat balls
Chicken Noodle Soup

About 8 to 10 Party Trays that consist of 2 different cheese squares, ham, pepperoni, bologna, various kinds of crackers or whatever you may like.

cocktail wieners are good also.Make them just like the above recipe for meatballs!!! Yum!!!

chex mix
cookies
candy
nuts

PEANUT OATMEAL BARS

Mix together all ingrdients and spread in a greased 13x9x2 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes.

KENTUCKY SPOON BREAD

1 can creamed corn (16oz.)
4 eggs, beaten
3/4 stick of butter
16 oz. sour cream
2 boxes of Jiffy Corn Muffin mix

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Mix all of the ingredients in a bowl and pour into a baking dish.
Bake uncovered until the top is golden brown and the inside is firm (use a tooth-pick to check).

JELLIED CHICKEN SALAD

1 env. unflavored gelatin

2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 c. chopped celery
2 tbsp. pimento stuffed olives, sliced
1 tbsp. minced onion
1/2 tsp. salt

BBQ

A couple of ways to work this find a way to keep hot things hot I.E. hot plate, crock pot etc. Cold things cold with ice packs or dry ice or simpler bring foods that don't need to be heated or cooled. I'd put together a fruit basket with lots of citrus like mandarin oranges, some grapes, kiwi a few persimmons, apples & mini bananas and some nice homemade cookies. You can even buy the dough at the store and then bake them if your in a hurry. Fruit is welcome during cold and flu season. The preparation on this is minimal and it looks pretty so you have the wow factor going on.

A fruit platter with lots of variety - leaving out fruits that turn brown after a little while even if covered with lemon. You can have a great mix with pineapples, watermelon, in fact, lots of melon varieties, citrus fruits like grapefruit, oranges, lemons, kiwi, grapes. The colours are quite seasonal as well. Saves those folk who like to pick all day worrying about their diets & that includes diabetics or cholestorol challenged. Add walnuts and almonds and perhaps macadamia nuts - raisins are good too.

You can add small apples, pears, bananas on the side but keep the skins on.

A fruit tray.

You should take candies.. fudges and divinities will not spoil

You can also make a variety of Cookies

For main dishes you are chancing the "kept out all day". Unless you have electricity to keep things warm.

Merry Christmas
Enjoy
