What is a good side to serve with hotdogs at a birthday party?!

not fruit skewers, why kid yourself, you reating hotdogs.
defenitly baked beans, some chhese fries, or, if you want to be a little healthy, a salad.
If its a kids party i would go with the cheese fries.
nachos always seem to make kids happy to, and if its for adults, nachos go great with beer adn dogs.

Raw Veggies! Coleslaw!! Chilli!!!

I would say put out some chili and cheese so they can make their hot dogs and maybe some fries... i know it sounds unhealthy but its a birthday party..and theres gonna be a chance that half of the kids wont touch coleslaw or potato salad. They might like corn on the cob tho b/c its fun to eat


3 Chicken Breasts
2 cups Rotini or Shell Pasta (cooked, rinsed and cooled)
1/2 Red Pepper
1/2 Green Pepper
8-10 cherry tomatoes (halved)
1/4 cup Feta cheese crumbled (optional)
1/4 Caesar Salad Dressing (more or less to taste and to coat)

Cook chicken until no longer pink in middle. Chop into small pieces. Chop peppers and add to tomatoes in large bowl. Add chicken, pasta and feta to large bowl. Add Caesar salad dressing and mix well. Refrigerate until needed.

French fries well it kind of depends of the ages but hay if you like it other people will too

Adults - jalepeno poppers, fried mushrooms, three bean salad (easy recipe follows), barroom potato salad (recipe follows)

poppers and mushrooms may be bought frozen and heated in oven, salads may be made days in advance

Children - cheese sticks (oven baked), and cold strips, apple sauce, tater tots

Potato salad

Boil red or new potatoes
cut into silver dollar slices or quarter with skins
toss in red onion rings
salt and pepper
stir some sugar in bottled Italian dressing
Toss all together

Bean Salad
A marinated bean salad, great for cookouts or any occasion.

* 1 can (approx. 15 ounces) cut green beans, drained
* 1 can (approx. 15 ounces) cut yellow beans, drained
* 1 can (approx. 16 ounces) kidney beans, drained
* 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper (both red and green if possible)
* 1/2 cup finely chopped sweet or purple onion
* .
* Dressing:
* 1/2 cup vegetable oil
* 1/2 cup cider vinegar
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
* 1/2 to 3/4 cup sugar

Casseroles of Mac. & Cheese, Baked Beans and Cole Slaw or Pickled Cabbage, along with fresh veggie sticks and a dip.
