recipe for HOMEMADE hot choclate!? I'd like to make some for my family on Christmas Eve (8-10 people) but don't want to spend a lot of time on it!. Thanks!Www@FoodAQ@Com

The very easiest way would be to gently warm up chocolate milk (use WHOLE milk); you can add more powdered cocoa and some cream if you want, but not necessary!. Top with real whipped cream or marshmellows - put a peppermint stick in each one as a stirrerWww@FoodAQ@Com

Easy Hot Chocolate Recipe

Why go to powdered packets when it is so easy to make hot chocolate at home with this easy recipe!? Even better: This hot chocolate is rich and creamy, and you don't have to use all the milk you have in the house!. You can even make this hot chocolate in the Crockpot!. Top this homemade hot chocolate with homemade raspberry marshmallows for a truly decadent treat!
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes

1 14 oz!. can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 tsp!. pure vanilla extract
1/8 tsp!. kosher salt
6-1/2 cups water

Whisk together sweetened condensed milk, cocoa powder, vanilla and salt in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat!.

Whisk in water, about a cup at a time!. Heat until warmed through, about 10 minutes!. Note: Do not allow the hot chocolate to boil!. It should just simmer until warmed through!.
Crockpot Directions: Whisk together all ingredients!. Pour into slow cooker!. Heat on low 1-3 hours!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Melt a block of dark 70% chocolate on the stove with 2 pints of milk!. Add sugar to taste!. Top with marshmallows or squirty cream or both!

Instead of chocolate you could use pure, bitter cocoa powder with sugar, but it won't be as thick!.Www@FoodAQ@Com


Put about 7 cups of milk into a pot and heat it up until it almost boiling but not boiling!. When its done pour it evenly into ur mugs and add about 3-6 tabelspoons of hershey hot fudge into each!. OMG ITS SOOO GOOD!
