Why don't cheese and onion sandwiches taste like cheese and onion crisps?

Cheese and onion sandwiches are all natural products.The crisps are not ,they have flavour enhancers in them.
Because cheese and onion sandwiches haven't got dried potatoes in them.
cause it is full of fat, salts and additives
and the crisps have some junk in them too lol
